Yearbook likes and dislikes.
High school yearbooks are extremely different from Middle School and Elementary schools. I liked how in some of them there were unique quotes and saying from others. I really enjoyed the backgrounds for the page because it really made the Yearbook more unique. Towards the end of most of the yearbooks there were pages that parents paid extra for, and the parents would write about their daughters/ sons about how proud they were that their child graduated. There was only one thing I wasn't really interested in.... it was the yearbook theme for 2010. The theme was Look backwards. Throughout the book a lot of the spelling was backwards and I found it extremely irritating. Over all though I really enjoyed the books and I'm looking forward to helping make this years one the best one yet!

Val,
ReplyDeleteI love your enthusiasm! I think that we've got a solid core of people on our yearbook staff that are really excited about this year's book. I'm new, and admittedly not an expert, but I think that we're all going to pick it up piece by piece and have a lot of success.
BTW, I read your last post, and I've had a similar experience before. But it was basketball for me. Hang in there, it builds character, etc. :)
